My mom and The Fault in her Stars

If you haven't read The Fault in our Stars yet, I advised you to stop reading this at this moment.

I'm the kind of person who really loves to share my favorite books with my mom, because she's not really fond of reading like me, I'm just telling her the story and of those books that I really liked is The Fault in our Stars.

Don't judge me but my favorite scene in TFIOS is when Hazel and Augustus had sex for the first time because it's just so funny how they're having a hard time because of Hazel's oxygen. Apparently, that part is what my mom remembered the most.

So while we were watching TFIOS on the cinema, the part where Hazel is speaking on Augustus' eulogy I'm almost crying then my mom said
Mom: Buntis sya diba? (She's pregnant right?)
With that I started crying so hard while laughing (I'm literally a mess). My mom is so surprised when Augustus died and she said
Mom: Pano na yung baby? (How about the baby?)
I love her so much and I let her believe that Hazel has her own happy
ending. But, after a few moments I admit that there's no baby and it's just all became a laugh.

This is probably a long share but have you ever experienced that false knowledge about a book? Let's talk about it.

Hi guys so I just finished Champion by Marie lu around a week ago or so & It was Amazing ♥ I loved the whole series so much, it hurts that it's over. The whole series was wrapped up nicely ( won't talk about the ending to avoid spoilers ). For those of you who haven't read the Legend series, you should totally read it because it's such an action packed & fast paced read  The plot is very unique & I seriously loved the timeline. I LOVED everything about it ( She's coming here on November 22 at Cebu & November 23 at Manila, I'm so excited shocks )

So I'm currently reading Enders by Lissa Price, another AMAZING book. This is the sequel to the Starters. The whole book is so interesting from the characters to the plot & all. Next week, I'm going to start reading books that follow the Halloween theme ( can't wait ) I think I'll start with the "Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children" series, what are your thoughts about this series?

Comment below what you're currently reading and your thoughts about the Legend and Starters series.

BOOK PEEVES 101

Hey guys this is Princess. I just want to share one of my book peeves

book peeves; things that you hate in a book or reading (kinda like pet peeve but for books)

So one of my book peeves is, names. Cause I'm not really good with names, and I'm having a hard time finishing a book wherein there are so many names that even the not-so-important characters are always being mentioned. Some example of this type of  books are Game of Thrones, Battle Royale, Under the Dome.

Are you feeling the same way? Share your book peeves also.

Hey guys I'm Princess (your new co-blogger) since October is the 'Month of Spooks'.
Let's challenge ourselves to read more Horror, Suspense, Thriller and  Mystery genre of books.

To start off the month, I'm starting on

Battle Royale, a high-octane thriller about senseless youth violence, is one of Japan's best-selling and most controversial novels. As part of a ruthless program by the totalitarian government, ninth-grade students are taken to a small isolated island with a map, food, and various weapons. Forced to wear special collars that explode when they break a rule, they must fight each other for three days until only one "winner" remains. The elimination contest becomes the ultimate in must-see reality television. A Japanese pulp classic available in English for the first time, Battle Royale is a potent allegory of what it means to be young and survive in today's dog-eat-dog world. The first novel by small-town journalist Koushun Takami, it went on to become an even more notorious film by 70-year-old gangster director Kinji Fukusaku.

How about you? What are you reading right now?
